Since the day they decided
to give their relationship another chance
The two have seen life in a new light
Even though she’s twenty-nine
she feels as if he’s taken her back to a place
where they can dream about life and
she’s eighteen again, so carefree
Could the love she feels for him be
the cause of such a blissful state of mind?
The first time he gazed into her eyes after what felt like an eternity
she felt her heart begin to race
He then gave her the sweetest complement
she’d ever heard him give
Your eyes sparkle I could spend my day
just sitting with you gazing into them
In response to his complement she replied
Thank you but the reason they sparkle is
due to the new lease on the love we now share
