Giving Her Heart to God

Her heart aches more than words can say in this fleeting instant
It feels as if she’s carrying a ton of weight on those shoulders of hers and
she doesn’t even have the strength to shed tears
Wishing she could float away on a soft cloud past this pain
sounds like a chance she’d take if she could
Some of the friends who said they’d be there if she ever needed them
are busy with their own lives and that’s okay

Although, she’d like to think she can get through this on her own
This time she knows it’ll take a little more so
she’s giving her heart to God
Who better to give her heart to than
the one who created it for her in the first place?
She has faith and trusts He’ll know what to do
All she can do is listen to her heart
eventually his love will heal her heartache
bringing her into the light beyond the pain

Where I Stand

Anyone who knows me will tell you
I’m a sweet person who will
trust someone unless and until
they give me a reason not to and
I’d really like to think I can trust the people who
make it a point to tell me I’m their friend
So if you know what’s good for you my friend?
Don’t give me a reason to doubt you considering
the fact I’m learning trust is a fragile quality
A quality more fragile then I once thought

Lately people I love have told me I
need to stand up for myself and
what I believe in
The way I see it I’ve come a long way but
when it comes down to this issue
I’ll always be a work in progress

If you don’t know me by now
let me tell you when I get upset I hold things in
until I can’t hold back anymore
I know it isn’t right to hate anyone but
I’ll also tell you I hate liars with a passion so
if you’re thinking of lying to me you may
as well walk out of my life for good
This is proof the truth will always set you free and
that’s where I stand

The Locket

She opens the silver heart shaped pendent to peer inside
because he’s been on her mind a lot as of late
A smiling face she’d seen for eighteen years
but has missed  dearly for almost six seemed to be calling out to her
Don’t forget I’m one heartbeat away from you at all times..”
Then as if he were standing right in front of her she softly whispered
“How could I forget you?

Suddenly the memories of all the great times they shared
found their way into her head and the tears began to flow
She remembered all the times he had her pull the lawn moor around their block
because he didn’t want to push it from house to house himself or
the times they played  for hours wishing the light of day would never fade
There are many more great memories she will forever hold dear
If she ever forgets his face all she has to do is
open the locket to see how full of life he was
Even though he’s gone to heaven he’s taught her
to never again take life for granted
And to love without holding back
The only thing she can promise him is
that she’ll try to live her life the way he’d want her to

The Little Things in Life

If anyone knows life can deal you an unexpected hand
it’s the woman putting these words to paper
She’s still learning most situations that can cause drama in one’s life
are so small they’re virtually insignificant
If you think about it twenty years from now
chances are you probably won’t even remember the problem you’re currently losing  sleep over

One day you might wake up asking yourself
Was that worry worth everything it took from me?
No matter how hard you try you can’t make others
bend to your will without the risk of pushing them away
Is that what you really want?
She knows life can bring one happiness but
along with the happiness it can also bring pain
When the pain gets to be too much to bear
send a little prayer to heaven and
trust in Him to answer when you need Him most

In the meantime everyone only gets one shot at
this beautiful yet sometimes tragic state we call life
Live e very moment to the fullest
loving those who love and care for you with all your might
Somewhere in there remember to laugh
because It’s going to be bumpy at times
so hold on and enjoy the ride

Mistletoe Dreams

When she was young Christmas time meant
visions of sugarplum ferries  would find their way into her head
She dreamed she was a ballerina dancing
yet seeming to float effortlessly on air
the joyous music  of this time of year filling the space around her
Oh my, where a child’s imagination can take one
She loved the magical wonder of the season so much
she’d wish time would freeze like the snow

Now the snow is falling the fire crackling but
the man she wants to spend the rest of her life with is still missing
Instead of the sugarplum ferries of Christmases past
she’s dreaming of finding her love under the mistletoe
As she sees his smiling face in her mind’s eye
she wonders if her mistletoe dreams will ever come true

Snow Angels

It's that time of year again
When winter has covered everything
for miles around with an endless blanket of white
and the sight of glittering lights becomes awe inspiring
It becomes common place to hear the joyous
sounds of children singing their favorite carols

The magic of the season seems
to bring everyone back to their childhood
if only for a moment
It's that time of year when
parents have been known to brave the chill so
they can teach their children how to make snow angels
Intern allowing them to make their imprint in the snow
and hand the tradition down for generations to come

It’s Too Hard

There’s a phrase she’s heard entirely too much lately
A phrase she’s used a lot over her span on this earth
that when spoken at least in her mind conveys a sense of hopelessness
Hopelessness that leads one on a journey down
a long dark path with no sign of light to mark its end

While she will agree there are times and places
when this dark sense will grip ones heart  seeming
as if it may never let go
To those she’d like to say she’s been there
one day your pain will ease and you will
smile without knowing you’re doing so
To those who use it’s too hard as an expression to
get out of situations they don’t want to be in
She has one question
How will you ever learn the lessons you need in this life
if you never push yourself beyond your comfort zone
in turn gaining the strength you may need in time?
Pain is a great teacher at least it has been for her

Melt

As she gets caught up in another daydream about the two of them
Her heart seems to find relief from that all too familiar ache
If only for a fleeting period and the truth is
all she craves is the chance to wrap her arms around him and
have him do the same for her

The love she feels for him has become like the
air she  needs to breathe
A connection so deep they know what
one another are feeling  before they start to speak
These two lovers bring out the best both have to offer

One day she hopes they’ll melt like ice
on a hot summers day
In the arms of the ones they will love
from now until forever fades

Heart to Heart

Every time I see her in person
she manages to take my breath away
It’s almost as if the little blonde haired girl
is changing right before my eyes
Suddenly I realize how much precious
time has slipped away from the two of us

There have been times I’ve sat alone in sadness
wondering if the love we share will
be enough to remind her
she is loved even in my absence
If I could I would freeze each and every
moment we spend together so we can
treasure them forever
Anytime she puts her arms around me
all my worries seem to disappear and
I know the love we share runs deeper than I
ever thought
It is in that split second we begin
communicating heart to heart

I hope you always remember
no matter where I am or where I go
I’ll always carry you and your love with me

Hope After the Dark

Less than two weeks into the New Year
the Haitian capital of Port-au-Prince was rocked
by an earthquake which measured seven point zero magnitude
on the moment magnitude scale
Even though the images in the media were heartbreaking
and it seemed like hope was lost
She found herself glued to the television
realizing how fragile hope can really be
There one minute and dashed the next

She then saw video of a group of Haitians singing and dancing
it brought her to tears and she couldn’t help thinking
if she lost friends and loved ones in an earthquake the
last thing she’d want to be doing is singing and dancing
While watching the story of this tragedy unfold through the camera’s eye
she’s learned that the human spirit is anything but breakable

She knows the scars will never heal but
there will come a time when those who have lost
people they care about
can turn their pain into something of beauty
That’s when the people of Haiti will find
hope after the dark

A Beautiful Rose

She opens her fragile pedals
to let the sun’s warm loving rays of light
wrap themselves around her
For that one brief moment in time
She feels the freedom to dream of
her every heart’s desire

Beautiful rose you are strong and resilient
If you have faith God will give you
what you need to become the person
He always knew you would be

Woman of Strength

She has been there for me through thick and thin
She gave me her heart, no questions asked
I never had to look very far to find my biggest fan
She was the one to scream loudest, and
the one who always told me she didn’t care if she embarrassed me
at least I knew she was there
She has seen me through unimaginable pain,
even though there were times she wanted to run and hide
so she couldn’t see the pain
She doesn’t know this, but I love her more
for sticking by me through all I have endured

She is the one I can’t wait to see at the end of each day
Even if life’s dark clouds seem to rain on her,
she knows just what to say to make me smile
I hope I possess the same characteristics she has which
make her a woman of strength in my eyes

Yesterday

Back when yesterday was her tomorrow
Life seemed like a gentle breeze carrying her where it chose
The last thing she wanted was to put up a fight
she didn’t think she could win
Then suddenly she found herself asking the question
“If I don’t fight for what I believe in who will go to bat for me?”

When all her chips were down and
she had  no other choice she gathered all the strength God gave her
Knowing the first round would be hard to win but
she fought with all her might also knowing
she couldn’t afford to lose
so she came out swinging
Some people who knew her when
yesterday was her tomorrow said she’d never make it and
if by God’s good grace she did
Her future looked dark and grey
Well if you could see her now
her future is brighter than you said it would be

No matter what, she will now and forever cherish her yesterdays
for all the lessons they taught her
For all those who’ve had yesterdays you wish you could trade
trust me today will be better and
tomorrow may be your best yet

Change

Have you ever found yourself thinking
if I could only change someone I love
their lives may be a little easier
She’s been there many times and
still finds herself in that same place from time to time
She knows there are some people who think
“She thinks she’s hot shit”

She’s here to tell you the knowledge she has
comes from lessons learned over her lifetime
One of the biggest ones she’s learned is the only person
you can change is yourself
Change doesn’t happen unless and until
you’re ready to do what it takes
For all those who say “I wish”
She has good and bad news for you
It’s all up to you

I Want

You say all you ever hear is the phrase I want
anytime I open my mouth to speak
When I hear you recite the previous line as often as you do
I feel like curling up in a ball crying because
you know as well as I do, that’s not always true
I always try to put others first
the way you taught me to

You say all you ever hear is the phrase I want
anytime I open my mouth to speak
Well, this time all I want is to see the people I care about
find happiness whatever it may be
I love you all and I will always carry you with me
everywhere I go

Words of Inspiration

Who would’ve thought she’d be sitting at home on YouTube
and come across a video of a Palestinian American spoken word poet that would
inspire her in more ways than she will ever knowHer story brought the plight of people she’d only ever read about
in books or occasionally heard about on the news
to life as a result pulling on her heartstrings

Over the next few years she looked for new videos
from the woman she now considers to be one of her heroes
Those videos became the burst of strength and encouragement
she needed to pick herself back up when she was down
Whenever her “Poor me” attitude reared its ugly head
her inner voice said “it could be worse”
Then as if that same voice were trying to be heard over a million others
the phrase “yeah, a lot worse” seemed to vibrate in her ear
like vibrations that occur while a loud noise dissipates

She is a true vessel of peace and
She is thankful that the words this strong yet vulnerable woman
has spoken can’t be unspoken no matter what
Like her, she can only hope the words she writes will touch
others the way her videos have done
making an impact on her
An impact she knows will last a lifetime and
like her words, she hopes her own words of inspiration can and will be
a legacy to be proud of

She Doesn’t Want to Talk

Man, if you’ve been calling a woman for a month and

she hasn’t returned not even one of your calls

Does the thought that she doesn’t want to talk to you even enter your mind?

As a woman I would like to know your answer to this very question

If someone I knew didn’t return my call after the first one

I’d let some time pass before I made the next one and

if the same action occurred I’d get the message loud and clear

If your constant calls have a overtone of romance and

you want more than a friendship with her

I’d tell you to find someone who can love you for who you are because

trust me the way she tells it, she’s not interested

If you still don’t get the point of this poem

please feel free to read it as much as you need to

until the message sinks in

I’m sure if this were another time and place

things might be different

Grateful

This year when she sits at the Thanksgiving table with
some of the people she loves most in this world
She’ll reflect on the events that
have shaped their lives to this point
Making them all stronger than they ever thought they’d
have to be

While it’s true life hasn’t been a bed of roses
She still has a lot to be thankful for
A mother and best friend who has stood by her rain or shine
never asking a thing in return
A sister she hopes will always know
how deep the love she feels for her really goes
Great memories of a brother who God has called home for
reasons she wishes she understood and
hopes someday she will
A baby sister who reminds her how great
God is and can really be
The love of a man who stole her heart and
takes care of it as if it were a priceless treasure
He’s always made her feel like she’s the
only woman in the world for him
These people are just a few of those she is grateful for
Not just around this time of  Thanksgiving but
every day of the year
She hopes all those she loves will
have a safe and happy holiday

Butterfly

She longs to be free
Every night before lying her head down
She prays He will give her the strength to take a breath
Spread her wings and flutter into freedom

The Ghost

He acts as if she is invisible
She does not understand how he can be so insensitive
Every time she asks him a question or two
he gives her the cold shoulder
She wishes he would tell her what his problem is
She knows he won’t because
he is uncomfortable around her
He needs to realize she may be different but
she is still human and not a ghost

Your Little Girl

Mom and dad I know I’ll always be your little girl
that’s the one fact of life I wouldn’t ever change
nor would I want to
We’ve been through a lot all of us
the lessons learned have at times been hard to bare but
I am a firm believer in the notion that what doesn’t kill us
can only make us stronger
One of the greatest lessons you ever taught your children
was to believe in God no matter what
My faith was tested when He called one of us home
at a time that we all perceived to be  to early
I now see our loss through a different set of eyes
We lost a son, a brother and a best friend as we knew him but
we gained an angel the second God took his soul to heaven
I really believe He had a greater plan for him
one we may not understand until such a time
as we are all reunited

I am at a point where I have to make choices you may not agree with
All I’m asking is that you have a little faith in me and
trust that you’ve given me all I need to be a strong woman
Always know I love you and I’ll never stop

When I Don’t Know

When I don’t know what to say I try to write a poem
that conveys how I feel but this time, oh this time beautiful girl
I don’t know where to begin so
I’ll follow the heart God gave me
that has never lead me wrong

I miss you more than I can find the words to say
I’m sorry I can’t be there in person like it use to be but
you’re always on my mind and in my heart
The one thing I can tell you is that
I cherish each and every moment we share
and I always will

If you ever need me I’m here like I have been
from the second we met
The key to the love we share lies deep within
that amazingly beautiful heart of yours
as it does in mine so if ever you get lonely
search for me inside yourself and I promise
I’ll be there

Every time I look through your eyes and
into your heavenly soul I see
the reflection of the little girl I once was
When I was your age my dear my only job
was to be the child that had nothing but love
in her heart for the family He chose for her
Trust me; you only get one chance to be a child so
hold on to your childhood as long as you can
because it only lasts for a moment in time

At Sunset

It has been one of those days
You know the kind everyone’s been there before
The kind where she wonders why she even got out of bed
an all too familiar question begins creeping into her head
Why me lord, why now?
She’s teetering on the brink of losing her mind but
instead she is writing this poem to calm her nerves
which are all but frayed and all she wants to do is scream

It’s so frustrating knowing the world is full of people
who just don’t care
She wonders how some people can treat others
who give so much as if they are replaceable
As she sits here she has one question
Do you have a heart?

Put yourself in the shoes of others
before you act so rude
Would you act that way if the tables were turned on you?
Well you had my day but
you will not have my night because
at sunset I intend to forget about you
at least until tomorrow
Then I have faith God will guide me through
just as he did today

True Friends

True friends are rare gifts from above
Like all other things in life
God knows just when you really need them
She has learned some friends blow through your life
like the wind on a cold day but true friends
will be there no matter what

When you are lost true friends will
be there to be a beacon of light
anytime you need one
They care without asking for anything in return
True friends will spend time giving good advice even
if it isn’t taken
True friends can also be a
great source of inspiration

She’s always heard just before
He calls you home you can look back on your life
and count your true friends on one hand

She hopes she’s been someone a few
could call a true friend when
they think of her

What her Heart Feels

Some people think it's wrong
for him to love her
In their opinions she doesn't seem to
feel that same intense love
he has always felt for her but
they'll never know
what her heart feels

Over the years she's found herself wondering
why those who say their love will never work
talk that way
Then she realizes those who question their love
only wish they could know a love like they have
They'll never know
what her heart feels

They can say anything they want
about the love between them but
they'll never know
what her heart feels when
he touches her heart
just by holding her hand
They'll never know
what her heart feels when
he looks deep into her soul
just by gazing into her eyes

The truth is she loves him more
than he'll ever even begin to understand
Their love is like a dream she use to pray
would someday come true
Even though it has been many years
since her dream of love became a reality
she'll continue to love and cherish him forever

Hopeful Heart

God, I know I’ve been sending lots of prayers up to you and
writing countless poems  for a few of your smallest angels
I often sit here asking why there are more questions
then there are answers in times like these
I quickly realize only you know the answers many people are waiting for
I have another prayer I need you to hear

This one is for a little one
of only eleven months
She has her whole life yet to live
I pray she gets the chance to dream of
whatever it is her little heart desires
One day making all her wishes come to life

Although everything in my heart tells me
she has gone to be held in your arms
My heart won’t let me let go of this small
chance she could be alive and safe

This hopeful heart still believes in miracles and
wants nothing than for Lisa’s story to have a happy ending
Wherever Lisa may be please watch over her
I know you are and you always will

Remember When

The memories we made are some of the
happiest I’ve ever had
You taught me how to smile even though smiling was
the last thing I wanted to do after a heartbreak
 I wasn’t sure I’d ever get past
I don’t think I’ve ever laughed as hard as I have with you
You once told me I’m an inspiration to you
The truth is my friend you are my inspiration

I know the chapter we wrote in the
story of our time together  is coming to an end but
whenever you need a pick me up
Remember whenyou forgot I was in the chair I couldn’t push and
you kept asking if I was coming  and
we laughed until we couldn’t anymore
Remember when we watched MTV and
made fun of the person who said
“I Aint gonna burn the fish”

These are just a few of the memories
I’ll remember when I feel my heart break
because I miss you more than words can say
I hope you know you’ll never be
too far from my thoughts and
I can only pray your future is one of endless sunlight
I love you and I always will

Matters of the Heart

When their eyes met for the first time
it was as if she were drawn to him like
a magnet to another
The feeling that swept over her was stronger than anything
she’d ever felt before or since
After their first meeting she decided if any of his soul mates
hurt him they were going to have to deal with her

He was easy to talk to and she’d sit there
hanging on his every word for hours
Anytime they were together, she didn’t want to think of the one
her heart belonged to
Although she never acted on the feelings
that got stronger as each and every day past
She soon found out like her, he had a poetic soul and
she’d often dream of how perfect their life could be if fate would intervene
she would often  say “I wish this were another place and time”
I wish I could love him past the pain I see in his eyes and
hear in his voice from time to time

Meeting him has taught her the real meaning of the saying
If you really love someone you have to let them go
then if they return it’s meant to be
Matters of the heart are often complicated but
in the end love can be the most beautiful complication
anyone will ever face

Inspiration

It’s funny but until she began writing
the poetic words that flow like a river from time to time
from deep within a place only she knows
She was deaf to the idea that the gentle whisper of inspiration can
be heard everywhere if she takes the time to listen
She once believed this delicate state of bliss could
only be found in her love and admiration for others

Now she has discovered that this gift
can be received in many forms
After an emotional storm of anger directed at one
who chose to remain selfishly ignorant
despite her repeated attempts of letting him know
she may have looked different and
therefore was different in his eyes
Yet she still deserved to be treated like a human being
In a few words of an everyday conversation
In the lyrics of her favorite songs
In the comfort of her lover’s embrace
As well as countless other people places and things

As long as there is inspiration to be found she will continue on
this journey of writing and self discovery
To all who have dreams she’d like to say
there may be unforeseen events that stand
in your way but don’t let those all to brief moments
hang like dark clouds over the goals you set for yourself
If you wake in the morning light and can only think of your dreams
you should pursue them whole heartedly never looking back
With a little faith and hard work I know
dreams can and really do come true

The Heart is

The heart is like an artist’s canvas
Like a canvas pure and untouched
before the artist paints or the poet writes
The heart is where dreams begin to take shape
and where dreams may even find the spark they need to take flight

If one searches their heart the extraordinary
place it is, they may find the key to a dream
they never knew they held deep inside
This poet must tell all those who read
the poem she now writes that
The truth is some of the most precious
gifts she holds dear have come from
dreams born from the deepest canyons
of her heart

Country Girl at Heart

As she begins reflecting on a childhood that seems so long ago
Some of her fondest memories are centered around the sound of
country music permeating throughout her home
Her father kept the radio tuned to country music
 stations for hours on end
There were times she heard so much of
the music she’d grow to love it drove her beyond crazy

Before she knew it she memorized
most of the lyrics to songs such as Tanya Tucker’s  It's A Little Too Late and
Pam Tillis  Shake The Sugar Tree just to name a few
She’d try to make her voice sound like the singers
who’s lyrics touched her in ways she couldn’t explain  but
no matter what she tried her voice just wouldn’t cooperate
By the time LeAnn Rimes released her first album Blue
she knew she wanted to be just like her someday but
on the other hand she knew it was a very  long shot

As her country music dreams have faded
and she’s found herself liking a plethora of musical styles
Country artists like Sugarland and others will remind her of
the great times she longs for from time to time
The truth is she’ll always be a country girl at heart

A True Miracle

It isn’t often one gets to
meet a woman like her
A woman who possesses an
extraordinary strength to forgive
those who have caused her
so much pain and heartache
That’s one of many reasons why she
and many others like her
consider her to be one of God’s true miracles

Even though she’s experienced
pain most of us can’t even begin to imagine
she still manages to bring smiles to the faces of
those who are lucky enough to call her their friend
Yet the one thing that inspires her most
is her unshakable belief that the lord will
take care of anything as long as one
believes in the power of prayer

Spirit of Light

She was a special child
with a smile that could make ones heart melt
A child that brought her
loved ones and even some she
didn’t get the chance to know a ray of hope
A ray of hope that still burns brightly
each and every time they tell her story

Even though her story brings tears to the eyes of
some who are fortunate enough to hear it
God took this precious angel home
in the dawn of her life because she
needed to spend her childhood in His arms

Realizing He didn’t want her memory to fade
from the hearts and minds of those who knew her best
He aloud her to leave behind the very spirit of light
that sustained her; as a tool of inspiration for others

If I Should

One day out of the blue, she finds an envelope her other half left on the table

as she picks it up and starts to run after him

she reads the message on the outside

It read, “To the woman I love with all my heart, only read this if I should..”

She is unaware in that moment tears have slowly begun

cascading down her cheeks as she thinks to herself

God, I love this man, what would I do if he came home to you before I did?

she brushed that sad thought away just as quickly as it formed

Even though her curiosity as to what was inside

could’ve killed the cat so to speak

she follows his wishes and

puts the unopened envelope away for safe keeping

As the years fly by; she and her beloved

have lived a life most couples only dream of

They always made sure anyone who knew them

knew they felt blest to have one another in their lives

Yet they have also weathered many a storm together

as many had done previously and

would continue to do after they met God

Now she’s facing a life without him

At least a life she’s use to

Shortly after his journey to heaven

she reflects back upon the life they shared

In a flash she remembers the envelope

she put away for safe keeping all those years before

Wondering what words of wisdom he wanted to share with her at this time

 she retrieves the envelope

the unread letter still inside

As she held the envelope in her hands she again reads the outside

“To the woman I love with all my heart, only read this if I should..”

She opens it and reads the letter he wrote:

My Dearest Love,

The life we shared was like heaven

You a strong angel from Him

one He sent to earth  just for me

I was not scared to come home because

now I am your angel, your angel I will always be

When you need me I’ll be there

I know you feel lost and alone and

your heartbeat doesn’t quite sound the same

without mine beating in unison

I am so sorry that’s the saddest part about this journey you’re now on

God and I are watching over you and we’ll give you the strength

you need to make it through

Well my love you may not be able to see me or

touch me like you once did but

you and I will learn  how to love one another beyond the

miles of time and space  between us

Never forget true love doesn’t disappear when

earthly bonds are broken and replaced with heavenly ones

I love you so much and that will never change

The Ring

She shows her mother the birthday gift
her beloved has just given her
A symbol of love that has no end
This to them means they will be one in the near future
Her mother says oh that’s beautiful but yet she
hears the blast of unspoken words like bombs
raining down upon a country at war

She decides to drop the subject for that moment
only to find the same unspoken anger
when she brings her gift up later
With a tongue as sharp as a knife
the woman who brought her into this world asks
Why did you tell him you’d marry him?

Why would you put yourself through that?
Her answer as simple as I love him
Her mother fiercely protesting
love is overrated

In true rebellious fashion
she says mom, we aren’t you and dad
I’ve seen what marriage shouldn’t be
From that day on the ring hasn’t left her finger
and it never will

The Sands of Time

As twenty-nine now rapidly approaches
she looks back and wonders where the time went
Sometimes it seems like the past is light-years away
Then there are other times if seems like life has passed by
in the blink of an eye

Her advice to all those including herself
who sometimes forget to take life as it comes
Is that time waits for no one
so enjoy the moments we have
Before the sands of tine slip through our hands

High on Love

Everyone at one time or another
has felt the high love brings
This high might make one believe
they can touch the sky
It might even make one feel
they can float on a soft cloud of white
from which they will never fall
But like a drug loves high
leaves you wanting more

She’s been lucky enough to have
been high on love countless times
with someone who was once a friend
and somehow became the man of her dreams
Dreams she thought may never come true
but now she knows they do

Thanks to God in love is
where they want to stay
From now until forever’s gone
they’ll continue to love each other
from the amazing heights love takes one to
to the beauty of the deepest ocean

There have been many before them
that have taken this journey of love and
found what they now have
